DogFit Certified Partner - Emily O'Neill
Emily O'Neill works alongside her sister Juliet Howes at their outdoor fitness company Outer Active.
The sisters' ethos is to get people exercising and having fun in the great outdoors. Canicross is the perfect complement to Outer Active's other offerings such as outdoor HIIT classes and one-to-one personal training. What could be better than exercising yourself and your four-legged friend at the same time?
Emily is passionate about all aspects of health, fitness and nutrition. In 2010 she changed careers from professional dancer to Level 3 Personal Trainer, group fitness instructor and more recently, yoga teacher.
She thrives on helping her clients reach their goals, whether it’s losing a jean's size, getting their pre-baby body back, preparing for a race or shaving minutes off their run time. Her aim is to motivate them to achieve their best in every session whilst still having fun.
Dolly the pug is Emily's unlikely canicross partner. This little firecracker amazes everyone who sees her canicrossing and is testament to the fact that any breed of dog can participate!
Both Emily and Dolly have become completely addicted to the buzz of canicross, enjoying both the teamwork aspect of running together as well as the excitement of being part of 'the pack'! It has also strengthened the special bond between them.
